A high-level SAB delegation headed by SAB
vice-president Mr. Adel Al-Sarawi participated in
the 16th GCC SAI Heads Meeting on Thursday,
17 Oct. 2019, in Oman.
Al-Sarawi was accompanied by Assistant
Undersecretary of Supplementary Bodies
and Companies Audit Sector Mr. Yousef Al-
Mazrooei, General Director of the President
Office General Directorate Ms. Fawzia Al-Enizi,
Director of Training and International Relations
Department Dr. Saud Al-Zamanan, and Director
of Administrative Affairs Department Mrs. Maha
Al-Rujaib.
During the meeting, the delegation presented its
own proposal regarding spreading awareness
and knowledge about auditing sustainable
development goals (SDGs). In addition, the
meeting addressed the decisions follow-
up report issued during the 15th meeting of
SAB participates in the
16
th GCC SAI Heads
Meeting in Oman
GCC SAI Heads and the 20th meeting of SAIs
Undersecretaries.
Moreover, the meeting contained the
announcement of the GCC 4th research and
studies competition’s winners in the field of
audit and control. The first place went to the
cooperative research presented by acting
Technical Office Director of Supplementary
Bodies and Companies Audit Sector Mrs. Nadia
Al-Humemedi, and Auditor of Supplementary
Bodies of Social and Public Affairs Audit
Department Mrs. Aisha Al-Rumaih. In addition,
third place was given to the research presented
by Supplementary Bodies and Companies Audit
Sector Technical Office Expert Mr. Abdulrahman
Al-Mukaizeem for his topic regarding evaluating
the performance of sovereign funds amid
economic changes.
