recommendations:
1. Presenting the achievements of the
Committee’s work to the Executive Council
for approval.
2. Presenting the plan (2020-2022) and
the operational plan for the year 2020 to
the Executive Council for approval and
providing the necessary financial resources.
3. Presenting the indicators and sub-priority
projects relating to supporting member
SAIs and their capabilities in the field of
monitoring the implementation of the SDGs
to the Executive Council for approval.
4. Presenting the program elements about the
fourth goal of the sustainable development
goals to the Executive Council for approval.
5. Presenting the project elements for the
review of Voluntary National Reports (VNRs)
to the Executive Board for approval.
6. Presenting the elements of the project to
form a working group to translate and adapt
the guidance approved by AFROSAI-E
in the field of monitoring the SDGs to the
Executive Council for approval.
The recommendations of the State Audit
Bureau’s delegation:
The State Audit Bureau’s delegation that
participated in the Committee’s meetings
recommended nominating a representative
from the State Audit Bureau of Kuwait from the
Performance Audit Department who participated
in topics related to environmental auditing and
sustainable development goals in order to
participate in the Committee’s meetings in the
future.
Assignments and tasks assigned to the State
Audit Bureau:
During the meeting, the work was distributed
among the Committee’s members and
considered the possibility of forming working
groups after the proposed activities for the (2020-
2022) were approved, whether they were old or
new activities. Moreover, the members agreed
on ways of implementation of such activities and
on assigning some Arab SAIs and the General
Secretariat with direct projects.
The State Audit Bureau of Kuwait has been
assigned to work on translating the IDI guidance
for Monitoring Sustainable Development Goals
(ISAM) to complement its role in this field.
