SAIs. SAB’s contributions and experience
in forming an Emergency Review Team
were discussed. The following aspects
were underlined during this meeting: the
impact of Coronavirus on businesses in the
country, the role of SAB in the current crisis,
the applied mechanism to guarantee the
continuity of business, and how to assess
risks. There have been 100 participants
in this virtual event, and they represented
different SAIs on a global scale.
• The Director of the Economic Affairs
Pre-Audit Department- Khaled Al-Abdul
Ghafour, the Senior Auditor- Fatima
Darweesh, and the Auditor at the Social
Affairs Pre-Audit Department- Basel Al-
Fadhli, participated in a workshop titled
‘Methods to Overcome the Obstacles that
may Stand in the Way of Constructing
and Implementing Labor Cities Project in
Kuwait”. The workshop was held on 21 June
2020 by the Public Services Commission of
the Council of Ministers, chaired by Khaled
Al-Roudhan - the Minister of Commerce
and Industry, and was attended by 26
representatives from local governmental
bodies.
