• A meeting with staff members in the
Ministry of Health on May 12th and June
7th, 2020. The meeting was held between
SAB president- Mr. Faisal Al-Shaya, the
Minister of Health- Dr. Basel Al-Sabah, the
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health-
Dr. Mustafa Ridha, and the Assistant
Undersecretary of Medicine and Medical
Supplies- Dr. Abdullah Al-Bader. The
coordination of the topics presented by the
Ministry before SAB during the concerned
time was addressed.
• Presentations on the results of the topics
reviewed by SAB’s Emergency Team were
delivered from 12 March to 16 May 2020.
The presentations targeted the members
of the National Assembly headed by the
Parliament Speaker- Marzouq Al-Ghanem
and attended by SAB President, Faisal Al-
Shaya. The event took place at the National
Assembly premises on 17/05/2020 with the
participation of 35 parliament members.
• Presentations on the results of the
concerned topics presented before SAB
Emergency Review Team from 12 March
to 16 May 2020. The presentations were
delivered before members of the Council of
Ministers. H.H the Prime Minister of Kuwait-
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah and
SAB President, Faisal Al-Shaya attended
the presentations. The event took place
on 18/05/2020 at the Council of Ministers’
premises. The Ministers, Supervisor and
Head of the Emergency Team, and several
officials and team members attended this
meeting.
Media Coverage:
The Information and Public Relations Department
has coordinated with the concerned media
parties to shed light on the Team’s assignments.
That is in light with the principle of transparency,
which included the following:
• A total number of (15) weekly reports are
listed within SAB official social media
accounts, disclosing the findings of SAB’s
Emergency Review Team.
• A total number of (4) monthly press releases
were published by KUNA (Kuwait News
Agency) and other national newspapers.
SAB representatives were interviewed
during the economic segment on national
television (KTV) to disclose the findings of
SAB Emergency Review Team.
• Publishing press releases on several issues
of public opinion on health quarantines
and antiseptics supplies contracts by
the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of
Defense.
• Hosted by several televised interviews and
call-ins programs. Details of said interviews
