Organizes Two Training
Programs in Cooperation
with the World Bank
The Training and International Relations
Department organized two training programs
titled “SAIs Measurement Framework” and
“Components of implementing risk-based
audits” in cooperation with the World Bank during
the period from 9 – 13 Feb. 2020. Six Arab SAIs
participated in these programs: SAIs of Saudi
Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Palestine, and
Oman.
In the first program, “SAIs Measurement
Framework,” representatives from SAI Saudi
Arabia, SAI Jordan, SAI Qatar, SAI Bahrain,
SAI Palestine, and SAI Oman have participated
under the umbrella of IDI and INTOSAI.
The first training program addressed SAIs’
performance measurement framework and how
SAIs and stakeholders can use measurement
or assessment reports, and how to connect SAI
PMF to SAI values and benefits. The program
also discussed the appropriate operation for
performing SAI performance assessment based
on goals assessment, country environment, and
circumstances.
The program was presented by Saeeda Mbaraka
from SAI Morocco, Mona Masdy, and Anees
Masmoody from SAI Tunisia.
On the other hand, the second program,
“Components of Implementing Risk-based
Audits,” aimed at putting the final touches on
audit models, discuss audit strategy and discuss
the planning chapter in the audit manual. In
addition, the program helped in drafting a training
program for training managers, SAI presidents,
and training audit trainers. It presented a general
outline of the significant steps for risk-based
audits. Moreover, during the program, both
SAI Kuwait and SAI Saudi Arabia shared their
experience in risk-based audits. They compared
