His Highness the Emir
Receives the President
of the State Audit Bureau
of Kuwait
His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad
Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the Speaker of the
National Assembly Mr. Marzouq Alghanim along
with the President of SAB Mr. Faisal Alshaya
on his new appointment as the President of the
State Audit Bureau of Kuwait. This visit took
place shortly after Alshaya took the oath of
office before the National Assembly on Tuesday,
November 12, 2019.
In addition, His Highness the Crown Prince,
Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,
received Mr. Marzouq Alghanim, the Speaker of
the National Assembly, and Mr. Faisal Alshaya,
the President of SAB, on the occasion of
Alshaya’s appointment for the new position.
Decree No. 276 of 2019 was issued on the
appointment of Mr. Faisal Alshaya as the new
President of the State Audit Bureau. Alshaya
was appointed following a majority vote by
the members of the National Assembly at the
parliamentary session held on Tuesday, October
29, 2019.
At the oath-taking session, the President of SAB,
Mr. Faisal Alshaya, thanked H.H the Amir and
the Prime Minister for their trust. He hoped that
he would live up to the high expectations placed
upon him, assuring that the law will be enforced
in the same way for all.
